Mark has always had a bit of wanderlust and found his passion in biking long distances alone in the middle of nowhere. After a heart attack and quadruple bypass in March 2016, he had a renewed motivation to hit the road on two wheels.
Mae is Mark’s daughter (and main author of this blog) who realized the opportunity to see the world if she could just possibly pedal enough to keep up with Mark. It would be crazy to let Mark go alone and it would be crazier to miss out on a trip to Europe.
